Advanced Chamber Program Summer 2026
Students will work daily with the Callisto Quartet through solo masterclasses and daily chamber coaching. They will participate in Advanced Chamber Orchestra, conduct independent chamber rehearsals, and perform in a side-by-side community concert with the Callisto Quartet.
Participating violin, viola, cello, and bass students will be selected upon video audition.
AUDITION DEADLINE: April 15th
Video Audition Requirements:
- 5 minutes maximum in length
- Two contrasting pieces of the student’s choice
- Two 3-octave scales: one major and one minor demonstrating spiccato (2 strokes per note) and legato (3 slurred notes per bow)
Audition Instructions:
- Provide an Unlisted YouTube link when submitting the audition
- State the student’s name and pieces clearly in the video title
- Confirm the visibility setting is marked “Unlisted” when uploading
What to Bring:
- A personal music stand (stands will remain at school all week)
- Lunch Monday through Thursday
- A water bottle each day
- Pizza lunch will be provided on Friday

Location: Hudson Montessori School
Dates: Monday–Friday, July 27–31, 2026. Final concert on July 31 at 6:30 PM.
Early Registration Ends: April 15, 2026
General Registration Ends: May 1, 2026
