BIOGRAPHY

Colleen has been an HMS staff member since 2004. For 19 years, she was a Lower Elementary assistant where she found joy working with the students. After a year of working part-time in the classroom and part-time in the office, Colleen is excited to embark on a new full-time adventure as the Advancement Coordinator.

Colleen first discovered Montessori when she and her husband were looking for education for their young daughter. She was enamored with the kind, caring and independent environment Montessori education offers.

When she is not spending time with her husband, Dana, of 30 years and her two children, who also attended Hudson Montessori School, you can find her swimming, reading, or walking the park trails with her white German Shepherd, Quinn. One of her favorite books is “Maria Montessori Sails to America, A Private Diary 1913”.
