BIOGRAPHY

Emily is a lifelong resident of Twinsburg where she lives with her husband Ben and their golden retriever, Odin, and their black cat, Rage. She followed in the footsteps of her three older brothers and started her Hudson Montessori education at the age of three. Altogether her family attended HMS for 22 consecutive years and always thought of the school as family.

Emily attended Hiram College where she received her degree in Early Childhood Education and had a wonderful study abroad trip experience to Italy in her senior year. After graduating, Emily decided to spend some time in the business world where she coordinated event planning, community outreach and supervised her team of 20+ employees, providing coaching, service improvement strategies and helping to implement staff training programs. She enjoyed her time there, but always wanted to be part of Hudson Montessori.

In her spare time, Emily loves to bake. She enjoys baking all kinds of desserts and cookies are her favorite to make. Her husband had a special “Queen of Cookies” apron made for her as a gift. They both also love to cook together and make homemade dinner almost every night. When she’s not baking, she’s either spending time with her big family, reading a good book, watching a new show or Emily and Ben are planning their next travel experience.
