BIOGRAPHY

Jennifer’s journey into Montessori education began while she was pursuing her undergraduate degree in elementary education at Northern Kentucky University. This led her to the Ohio Montessori Training Institute in Cleveland, where she earned her AMI accreditation. In 1997, Jennifer joined the Hudson Montessori. She later returned to the institute as a course assistant for three summer courses.

Outside of the classroom, Jennifer enjoys exploring Northeast Ohio with her husband. They love to adventure through small towns and, in particular, visiting local yarn shops, as Jennifer is an avid knitter. She also cherishes the time she spends with her grandchildren. Jennifer also volunteers her time at her church helping with junior church and summer camp.

Every year, Jennifer looks forward to the end of summer when she collects monarch caterpillars. She enjoys sharing the experience of raising them with her students as they begin a new school year together.
