BIOGRAPHY

Laura and her family are happy to be a part of HMS and are enjoying settling into their new home in Hudson. Originally from the West side of Cleveland, the Kish’s are having fun discovering trails, parks and the many outdoor events in the area.

Before joining HMS, Laura worked at Ruffing Montessori, Rocky River as a Student Support Liaison for several Lower Elementary classrooms. She was also a lead teacher for a Toddler House Community at Firelands Montessori Academy in Huron, Ohio. Before diving into Montessori teaching, Laura was an Intervention Specialist in a public school for several years. Laura decided to pursue her lifelong love of learning, and interest in Montessori, by enrolling in teacher training through The Oaks Montessori, AMS teacher training program and is eager to learn from the folks at HMS.

Laura enjoys running, yoga, biking, hiking, gardening, spending time with family and hunting for treasure at thrift shops.
