BIOGRAPHY

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with specialization in Mathematics and Language Arts from Miami University. She has experience teaching Middle School both in public and independent schools as well as experience with home school education. She has a strong desire to expand her knowledge as an educator by working in a Montessori adolescent program. Lauren’s respect for Montessori philosophy began with her experience as a parent at Hudson Montessori School. She is also currently working on a Montessori 12-18 diploma through the International Montessori Training Institute.

Lauren and her husband, Patrick, have one graduate of HMS and will have two younger children enrolled this fall.

Originally from Hudson, Lauren is happy to be raising their children here. Included in their family are two cats, an Aussiedoodle puppy named Kula, and nine chickens. If she has any time left, she enjoys reading, knitting, and watching a good “Whodunit”.
