BIOGRAPHY

Lisa graduated from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, with a major in English Literature and a minor in Spanish. She has taken a long and winding road leading her to Montessori, beginning with a career at 5/3 Bank in customer service and human resources; Pitney Bowes in account management and new employee training; Northwestern Mutual Insurance in client retention and public speaking at incentive conferences from California to Wisconsin and back to Ohio.

Lisa also worked with Unbridled Solutions, an event planning company in Denver, Colorado, where she worked primarily in hospitality and client management. One highlight from her event planning days was working with Billy Idol as he played a private concert for a small group of new employees – all thought it was a great day for a “white wedding.”

Lisa began at Hudson Montessori School in the spring of 2015 and fell in love with the students, the atmosphere, the community and sense of family. She has enjoyed being an assistant teacher in Upper Elementary, Lower Elementary, and YCC. She also has been lucky enough to be the PE teacher and school Librarian.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her three children: Mackenzie, Colin and Peyton. Mackenzie is a sophomore at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida, Colin is a freshman at The Pennsylvania State University, and Peyton is a sophomore at Hudson High School. When not at HMS, you can find Lisa walking her two dogs, Tucker and Beau, at Hudson Springs Park.
