BIOGRAPHY

Matt joined Hudson Montessori School in 2016 as Head of School. He has been involved in independent school education for more than twenty years in different capacities. Until coming to HMS, these experiences were in St. Louis. He began as a middle school history/social studies teacher at Mary Institute/St. Louis Country Day School. He worked as a division director at Rossman School and as a curriculum coordinator at City Academy in St. Louis. Prior to joining Hudson Montessori School, he was the head of school at Chesterfield Day School.

In addition to being a member of the HMS community, Matt has led accrediting teams for the Independent Schools Association of the Central States, been a member of Leadership Hudson, served on the board of State of Mind: Hudson and is currently the past-president of the Board for the Ohio Alliance of Independent Schools and serves on the Board in the capacity. 

Matt and his wife, Kelley, live in Hudson with their three children who attend HMS.
