BIOGRAPHY

Chris and her husband David have lived in Hudson for over twenty years, along with their two children, Matthew and Jennifer. After many years of being a stay at home mom, Chris came to HMS in 2015, where she runs a cooking club, helps manage After Care, leads Schools Out and the summer “Jungle Room. Before becoming a mom and working at HMS, she was a real estate paralegal in Cleveland. Nowadays, Chris enjoys learning about American history, especially the Battle of Gettysburg (which she visits every year with her daughter) and is an honorary citizen of Gettysburg, as well as exploring America’s national parks, and collecting recipes. She loves seeing the excitement in her students’ eyes as she shares fun facts and cooking techniques. Did you know that hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards!?
