BIOGRAPHY

Jocelyn joined Hudson Montessori School as a Children’s House teacher in 2023. Originally from New York City, she has enjoyed calling Ohio home for the past 12 years. Her children, Sebastian (5) and Oliver (1), are both HMS students.

Jocelyn’s Montessori journey began when she volunteered at the Elizabeth Ann Clune Montessori School of Ithaca, where she fell in love with the Montessori method. After moving to Cleveland, she worked as an assistant in Stonebrook Montessori’s pilot program before completing her training under the late Joan Bettmann in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 2016, Jocelyn has taught in primary classrooms serving children ages 3–6 at several Montessori schools throughout Northeast Ohio.

Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in classical voice from Ithaca College. She earned her Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Primary diploma from the International Montessori Training Institute. She is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Cultural Foundations at Kent State University and expects to graduate in December 2026.

In her free time, Jocelyn enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is a marathon runner who also loves yoga, listening to podcasts, and reading.
