B.A. in Education: AYA Integrated Social Studies, University of Akron

Biography:
Katie Allaman-Ricci taught Social Studies in a traditional classroom for six years before taking time off to spend with her young family. She has a two-year-old, an infant, and two dogs who keep her busy. Katie discovered Dr. Montessori as a mom and became fascinated with the possibilities of viewing child growth and development through this lens, both as a parent and as an educator. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and share her love of learning while supporting the Children’s House.

Outside of school, Katie enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, and skiing with her family.
