BIOGRAPHY

Marcela Valay was born in Tijuana, Mexico, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. She began her professional journey at PwC and went on to build her career in multinational companies, gaining expertise in international accounting, general accounting, accounts payable, financial planning and analysis, and tax. Luna and Ollie.

Eight years ago, Marcela moved to the United States with her husband, Oscar, and their two children, Hector and Ximena. During this time, she focused on supporting her family and helping her children adapt to a new culture, language, and environment. Now, Marcela is excited to be part of HMS, where she has found a wonderful place to work, with a strong sense of community and supportive colleagues. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, playing board games, and spending quality time with her family, including their two beloved dogs, Luna and Ollie.
