Marcela Valay was born in Tijuana, Mexico, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. She launched her career at PwC and later worked for multinational organizations, developing expertise in international accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, accounts payable, and general accounting.

Marcela serves as Director of Finance at Hudson Montessori School, where she oversees the school’s financial operations and supports its long-term strategic goals. She is passionate about helping ensure the school’s financial strength, enabling HMS to continue providing an exceptional educational experience for students while supporting its growth and future initiatives.

Marcela lives in Streetsboro with her husband, Oscar, their children, Hector and Ximena, and their beloved dogs, Luna and Ollie. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing board games, and spending quality time with her family.
