BIOGRAPHY

Tim joined Hudson Montessori School in 2015 after several years at nearby Western Reserve Academy, where he served as the Director of Programs and Student Activities. During his time at Western Reserve, he also coached varsity basketball, baseball, football, and softball. His background in education includes extensive experience in residential life, student activities, and auxiliary programming, as well as serving as a dorm parent and student advisor.

As Director of Auxiliary Programs, Tim oversees the many programs and services that extend the HMS experience beyond the classroom, including the school’s summer programs and other extended-care offerings. He also oversees safety and security initiatives at Hudson Montessori, working to help ensure that HMS remains a safe, welcoming, and well-prepared environment for students, families, and staff. In addition, Tim serves as the school’s American Red Cross instructor, helping certify faculty and staff in first aid and other essential emergency-response practices.

After more than a decade at Hudson Montessori, Tim considers HMS much more than a workplace—it is a community that has become an important part of his family’s life. He particularly enjoys the relationships he has built with students, families, and colleagues and the opportunity to contribute to the many experiences that make HMS such a special place. He is especially grateful to experience the school as a parent, watching his own two daughters grow and learn as members of the HMS community.

Outside of HMS, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Alyssa, a veterinarian, and their two daughters. The family shares their home with one dog and three cats. Having grown up near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Tim has a lifelong interest in history, particularly Civil War-era American history. He is also an avid sports fan and enjoys cheering on his native Steelers, Orioles, and Penguins, along with his adopted Ohio team, the Cavaliers.
